Our Parks

Leawood Park boasts a variety of amenities, including children's playground equipment, a picnic shelter, a soccer field, a baseball field, and landscaped open spaces. These facilities cater to residents of all ages, providing a space for both active recreation and leisurely activities.

Field and Pavillion Use

The Field Pavilion are maintained by the taxes of the residents of the Leawood Metropolitan & Recreation Park District and are available for reservation on a first come first serve basis. 

Report Issues

Please report any accidents to 911. Report unlawful conduct to Jeffco Sherriff at 303-277-0211.

For the safety and the protection of park users and park facilities, property, and equipment, the following rules and regulations in place.

  • The Parks are open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Alcoholic beverages are allowed by permit only.
  • No overnight camping.
  • Pets must be on a leash.
  • Please clean up after your pets.
  • The following are prohibited: 
    • Motorized Vehicles
    • Practicing Golf
    • Littering or Dumping
    • Horses on turf or near shelters
    • Misuse of any park property
    • Fireworks
    • Weapons including air rifles, sling shots, bow & arrow etc
    • Tree Houses and Rope Swings

  • Rental is $35 for residents and $70 for non-residents
  • Pavilion use is limited to a two hour time period.
  • Please be respectful of other park users.
  • Clean up and dispose of trash before leaving the pavilion.
  • You are responsible for any damage caused while using the facilities.
  • Large inflatables must be weighted or anchored securely.
  • All park users must abide by the relevant Jefferson County ordinances & Colorado Revised Statues.
  • Motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited.
  • Use of foul language, loud music and other disruptive behavior is prohibited.
  • Use of bicycles, skateboards, roller blades etc in shelter or deck area is prohibited.
